About Us

Dr Sam Hadjipetrou graduated from the University of Queensland with Honours in 1986. Following his graduation, he worked at numerous government clinics as well as a locum in private clinics for a number of years.

In the meantime, Dr Sam Hadjipetrou opened “Family Dental Clinic – West End” in 1990, while continuing to work at different clinics. Dr Sam Hadjipetrou enjoys all aspects of dentistry with particular emphasis on helping all patients maintain good oral health for a lifetime. Dr Sam Hadjipetrou has maintained special interest over the years in the areas of endodontics, wisdom teeth surgery and implant dentistry.

He has a commitment to professional development and attends regularly continuing education courses and seminars as part of his devotion to providing an exceptional standard of care. With his well trained dental team, Dr Sam Hadjipetrou places emphasis on outstanding dental care for every patient and wants to ensure that all patients feel comfortable and relaxed during every dental treatment experience at Family Dental Clinic – West End.

When away from the clinic, Dr Sam Hadjipetrou is devoted to his wife and three children with whom he enjoys holidaying with especially the outdoors. He particularly enjoys camping, boating and fishing, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Graduated from a Bachelor of Dental Science degree at the University of Griffith in 2014. Since graduation, Alice worked in a private practice in Toowoomba before moving back to Brisbane and joining Family Dental Westend in 2018.

Alice is a member of the Australian Dental Association and regularly attends professional development courses to stay up to date. Alice takes great pride in providing excellent dental care to her patients. She is particularly interested in aesthetic composite restorations and preventative dentistry. She can also speak Mandarin.

Outside of dentistry, Alice enjoy visiting the local markets and cooking. She also stays active with regular Pilates and swimming

Dr. Georgio Hadjipetrou graduated from Griffith University with a Masters of Dentistry. He previously completed a degree in Pharmacy, but his passion has always been in the dental field.

His dream of becoming a Dentist began as a young man when he realised the positive impact that dental treatment and education has on patients’ oral health, having the ability to transform a patient’s self-confidence by helping create the smile they always dreamed of.

Along with his calm and gentle demeanour, Georgio has a meticulous personality, ensuring high quality dental work is always provided and promising an exceptional outcome rather than just a satisfying one.

He is committed to forming meaningful relationships with his patients and putting them at ease in the chair.

He understands the universal perception that visiting the dentist can be a daunting experience, but his goal is to change that perception one patient at a time by providing a positive and pleasant experience.

Georgio practices all areas of general dentistry, but he especially enjoys technique-sensitive procedures such as root canals, extractions, and aesthetic work. He enjoys attending dental courses and workshops to keep up to date with the latest techniques and advancements to provide his patients with outstanding care.

Outside of Dentistry, Georgio has an active lifestyle and can be found most days training at the gym, playing sport, getting a line wet in the Moreton Bay, or spending time with his family and friends.

Dr. Kosta Hadjipetrou is a highly skilled dentist who earned his Master of Dentistry from Griffith University. With experience spanning both rural and private practice settings, Kosta has developed a well-rounded expertise in treating patients of all ages, including children, in various environments—such as pop-up dental clinics and mobile dental vans.

Driven by a passion for exceptional patient care, Dr. Hadjipetrou takes pride in ensuring that each patient feels relaxed and at ease during their visit. His approach focuses on preventative dentistry, with the goal of helping patients achieve lasting oral health and preventing future dental issues.

Committed to professional growth, Dr. Hadjipetrou regularly attends advanced education courses and seminars, staying abreast of the latest dental advancements and techniques to offer the highest standard of care. His clinical interests include oral surgery, aesthetic dentistry, endodontics, and complex wisdom teeth procedures, making him well-versed in a broad range of dental specialties.

Outside of his practice, Kosta is an avid sports fan, regularly following the NBA and the tennis. He also enjoys experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen and spending time outdoors, whether it be refining his garden, playing sport or spending time at the beach.
